Jenna Reid
Jenna Reid, born in 1981 in Quarff, Shetland, is a Scottish traditional fiddle
player. After finding a fiddle in her grandmother’s attic at age nine, Reid
studied under Tom Anderson and Willie Hunter and graduated from the Royal
Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Reid began her career with the ensemble
Filska alongside her sister Bethany and mother Joyce. She later joined the
groups Blazin' Fiddles, RANT, and Dòchas, and appeared on the Transatlantic
