Jérémie Makiese (June 15, 2000) is a Belgian singer and football player from
Antwerp. Born into a Congolese family, he spent his childhood between the
municipalities of Berchem-Sainte-Agathe and Dilbeek, where he learned to speak
both Dutch and French. He began singing in a local church choir and then took
singing lessons in school, winning several talent contests. At the age of 13, he
developed an interest in football, first playing as a goalkeeper for BX Brussels
