Jim Bianco is an American singer-songwriter who transitioned from local bass
playing to becoming a cornerstone of the Los Angeles Hotel Café scene. After
moving to California in 2000, he gained recognition by opening for Gary Jules,
which led to his participation in the Hotel Café Tour starting in 2005. His
recording career began with the 2002 EP Well, followed by his debut studio album
Handsome (2004). The 2008 release Sing, featuring the title track "Sing,"
primarily composed on the Hotel Café's backroom piano, further enhanced his
