James Vivino (born January 10, 1955) is an American rock and roll, jazz, and R&B
guitarist, keyboardist, and singer from Paterson, New Jersey. Vivino began
performing in New York clubs in the early 1980s and served as the musical
director for the play Leader of the Pack in 1984. He led Jimmy Vivino and the
Black Italians and served as the musical director for Al Kooper for fifteen
years. Vivino was a consistent member of Conan O'Brien's late-night house bands,
