Jiří Schelinger, born March 6, 1951, in Bousov, was a rock singer and composer
who began his musical journey playing piano and guitar during his youth. His
first band, Nothing But Nothing, formed while he was in elementary school in
Nusle. Schelinger later joined the blues band The Happy Five, before becoming a
member of Faraon, where he recorded his first big hit, the song "Holubí dům", in
1972. In 1973, he joined František Ringo Čech's band and collaborated on the
