Jo Squillo is an Italian singer-songwriter and television presenter born as
Giovanna Coletti on June 22, 1962, in Milan. She achieved professional
recognition in the punk movement, releasing her first single featuring the
tracks “Sono cattiva” (1980) and “Orrore” (1980). She was a member of the group
Kandeggina Gang before releasing her debut studio album, Girl senza paura
(1981), through the label 20th Secret. During the 1980s, she adopted new wave
