Born Herbert Joakim "Jocke" Berg on March 15, 1970, in Eskilstuna, Sweden, he is best known as the lead singer of Swedish pop group Kent. Joakim Berg grew up in his native Eskilstuna, but he moved to Stockholm in 1993 to pursue his career with Kent, where he served as the lead singer, rhythm guitarist, and main songwriter.
