A classically trained musician, Joby Talbot wrote the arrangements for The
Divine Comedy, and has a parallel career as a composer for television and film.
Born in Wimbledon on August 25, 1971, Joby Talbot studied music at the highest
level, graduating with a Master's degree in composition from London's Guildhall
School. Composer of the series The League of Gentlemen (1999-2002) and the film
based on it, he has written numerous scores for feature films, as well as works
for the stage, including the ballet The Dying Swan (2002) and orchestral and
