John Van Tongeren
John Warrington Van Tongeren, born 10 March 1961 in Seattle, is an American
composer and keyboardist. He established a reputation in the early 1980s as a
member of the synth-pop bands Q and SSQ, contributing to the album Playback
(1983) and the song "Anonymous". Van Tongeren subsequently worked as a session
musician for artists including Chicago, Starship, and Jeff Beck. He launched a
film scoring career at Media Ventures, contributing additional music to films
