Jon Thorne
Jon Thorne, born 12 February 1967, is an English double‑bass player, producer
and composer. He released his debut album Manchester Road in 2006, featuring 12
original compositions with pianist Steve Brown and drummer Luke Flowers. In
2007, he followed with Final Master, and in 2016 issued Everything Sacred.
Thorne was also part of Yorkston/Thorne/Khan, contributing to the albums Neuk
Wight Delhi All‑Stars (2017) and Navarasa: Nine Emotions (2020).
