Born September 9, 1982, in London, England, Jonathan Jeremiah is a singer,
songwriter, and musician born to an Anglo-Indian father and Irish mother.
Influenced by pop and soul music as well as folk music artists such as John
Martyn, Serge Gainsbourg, and Scott Walker, he began performing at the age of
14. He took a road trip across the US and began writing his own songs. His trek
took him to New York, where he managed to land a job playing piano in a bar.
