Jonathan Kreisberg
Born in New York City, New York in 1972, Jonathan Kreisberg is a jazz guitarist,
composer, and educator. After his family moved to Miami, Florida, he started
playing guitar at the age of 10. He was admitted to the New World School of the
Arts at the age of 16. Focusing on his jazz studies, he committed himself to
learning to master the guitar. He won a scholarship to the University of Miami
where he occupied the guitar chair in the Concert Jazz Band. He attended the
school from 1990 to 1994, touring Brazil with the band and playing with Michael
Brecker, Joe Henderson, and others....
