Jorge Cordero
Jorge Luis Jomarron Cordero, known as Jorge Cordero and born 12 May 1952 in
Holguín, Cuba, is a Cuban guitarist, vocalist and percussionist. After studying
at the Instituto Superior De Arte de la Habana, he moved to Denmark in 1969,
performing with Anne Linnet, Steffen Brandt and the Latin rock band La Luna. In
1979, he joined the salsa orchestra Salsa Na´Ma before founding Los Gran Daneses
in 1987. The group released Rompiendo El Hielo (1993), Del Norte y Tropical
(1996), Al Tiempo (1999), Latino (2004), and Mi Universo (2016), earning three
Danish World Music Awards (1999, 2002...
