José Nogueras

José Nogueras, born June 18, 1951, in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, is a singer, guitarist, composer, and music producer with a career spanning more than 40 years. He began performing in local groups as a child and composed his first songs at age 17, debuting professionally with the album Salsa Estival (1981). Over the years, he released a steady stream of albums, including Ser Boricua Es un Honor (1987), Tiempo nuevo (1994), and Siempre Alegre (2018), which marked his 39th consecutive Christmas studio album.
