Josh Gabriel, born in the United States, is an American electronic music DJ and producer whose career began in the late 1980s while studying at the Institute of Sonology in The Hague. He mastered early digital instruments such as the DX7 and TX816 and developed software to control samples on an Akai S900, laying the groundwork for his later hardware project Mixman. Gabriel’s breakthrough came with the 2001 single "Wave 3", followed by "Alive" in 2005 and "Summit" in 2007, establishing him in the dance music scene.
