Borrowing elements from hip-hop, trip-hop, and left-field electronica, American
DJ and producer Josh One's repertoire spans various genres and styles. Born
Joshua Noteboom on March 14, 1975, in Sioux City Iowa, he made his debut with
the single "Contemplation" in 2001. Over the next few years, he gained
prominence as a remixer, putting his unique touch on tracks like Nappy Roots'
"Po' Folk's," while also dropping his first EP Grey Skies in 2003. Narrow Path,
his studio debut, arrived in 2004 via Immergent Records and listed Aloe Blacc
