Joshua James is an American singer-songwriter who is based out of American Fork,
Utah, and Lincoln, Nebraska. He began his professional music career in 2003 and
released the album B-Sides: It's Dark Outside (2006). James achieved commercial
success with the digital release of The Sun Is Always Brighter (2007), which
reached Number 1 on the iTunes Folk Album list and sold over 25,000 copies by
the end of 2008. This album earned him a place in the September 2008 issue of
Paste Magazine as one of their “Next 25 Artists You Need To Know”. NPR also
