Juan Félix Maglio, known as Pacho, and born on November 18, 1880, in Buenos
Aires, Argentina, was a tango composer, bandoneon player and orchestra director.
He began his musical journey by familiarizing himself with the bandoneon played
by his father and debuted publicly in 1899 at Café El Vasco. By 1912, Maglio had
achieved significant success and was contracted by Columbia Records to form the
Orquesta Típica Criolla Juan Maglio Pacho. His compositions include
