Kalapana
Kalapana, an American pop-rock band from Honolulu, Hawaii, formed by childhood
friends DJ Pratt and Malani Bilyeu. They began performing at local venues,
opening for notable acts such as Earth, Wind & Fire. In 1975, Kalapana released
their debut self-titled album, achieving significant success in Hawaii and
Japan. Their second album, Kalapana II, was released in 1976, followed by a
concert event at the Waikiki Shell that drew 25,000 attendees. The band won two
