Kalash L'afro was born in 1979 in Berre-l'Étang, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, and is
a French rapper originally from Marseille. He began rapping in 1997 while
exploring Marseille mixtapes. After establishing the label Baraka Muzik, he
released the mixtape Ghettoven in 2006, leading to his debut studio album
Cracheur de Flammes in 2007, which entered the French charts at number 91. He
followed with the maxi Légitime (2008) and the mixtape Que Du Seum (2010). In
