Frenchman Kanka has become a key figure on the French and international dub
scene, specializing in the steppa style. This highly electro and energetic
variant of dub has enabled him to shine with the help of singers such as MC
Oliva, Ranking Joe and Brother Culture. Signed to specialist label Hammerbass,
Kanka released Don't Stop Dub! in 2005. Alert (2006) and Sub. Mersion (2009)
follow in the metallic dub vein. Dub Communication in 2011 is widely acclaimed
by the critics.
