Juan David Loaiza Sepúlveda (born December 15, 1997, in Zaragoza near Medellín
and raised in El Cabuyal near Cali) began writing music early—penning his first
song “Yo tengo un sueño” at age 13. After moving to Bogotá at 16 and appearing
on Yo Me Llamo imitating Cosculluela, he gained his break in 2019 when he signed
with La Industria Inc and released his debut single “Humo,” marking his entry
