Katarína Hasprová is a Slovak singer and actress born on September 10, 1972, in
Bratislava. She studied musical theater at the Janáček Academy of Music and
Performing Arts in Brno and performed in productions such as Joseph and the
Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and West Side Story. Hasprová began her solo
recording career after winning the Bratislavská lýra festival in 1997 with the
song "Jedno zbohom". This victory earned her the right to represent Slovakia at
