Kathy Kallick
Kathy Kallick, born September 19, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois, is an American
bluegrass musician, bandleader, vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, and recording
artist. She began performing by singing harmony with her mother, Dodi Kallick, a
leading member of the Chicago-area folk music scene. In the mid-1970s, she
co-founded the Good Ol’ Persons, one of the first all-women bluegrass bands,
which released five albums and toured extensively until disbanding in the
