Kerri Simpson
Kerri Simpson is a blues singer from Melbourne. Her breakthrough came with the
1998 album Confessin' the Blues, which earned a nomination for the 1999 ARIA
Award for Best Blues & Roots Album and established her presence in blues scene.
Simpson continued to release albums such as Fortune Favoured Me in 2012, while
collaborating with ensembles like the Gospel Belles and the Ska Vendors. In 2024
she was inducted into Blues Music Victoria's Hall of Fame, and her band
Opelousas received Music Victoria Awards for best blues work and best blues
album.
