Christoffer "Kid" Andersen, born on January 15, 1980, is a blues guitarist from
Herre, Norway who gained early attention from Norwegian blues guitar teacher
Morten Omlid at age 11. In 2001, Andersen moved to the United States and joined
Terry Hanck's band, becoming a prominent figure on the West Coast blues scene.
He later played with Charlie Musselwhite, contributing to the album Delta
Hardware, which won a Blues Music Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album.
