Kidnap Kid
The artist formerly known as Kidnap Kid, currently known as Kidnap – aka UK
electronic producer Matthew 'Matt' Rupert Lancaster Relton – was born in
Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England on February 22, 1991 and unleashed his first
EP, The Great Confusion, via Squelch and Clap in 2011. The following year, he
released the breakthrough single "Vehl," picking up the award for iTunes Best
Electronic Track in 2012 and making a name for himself as a fine purveyor of
smart electronica. He continued to put out a string of singles for London's
Black Butter Records, namely 2013's "So Close" ...
