Kimberly Ann Richardson, born on December 22, 1965, in Richmond Hill, Ontario,
Canada, is a Canadian singer and actress. The daughter of singer and actress
Jackie Richardson, she began singing in a church choir at age seven and joined
the local quartet The Tiaras at sixteen. Her breakthrough came with the 1985
single "He’s My Lover", which earned her the 1986 Juno Award for Most Promising
Female Artist. The following year, she won the Juno Award for Best R&B/Soul
