King Niko
King Niko, an American indie rock band from Salt Lake City, Utah, was formed in
April 2009 by guitarist Benjamin Moffat. Their first performance took place in
May 2009, followed by the release of their debut EP, Gorgeous and Gory, in 2009.
The band's song "Katrina Sleepover" gained local radio success, leading to
high-profile shows opening for acts like Say Anything and Thirty Seconds to
Mars. In August 2010, Andrew Sullivan left the band and was replaced by Reid
Laitinen on keys. King Niko released their second EP, French Accent, in 2010.
