Kome Kome Club is a Japanese band formed in 1982 by university club mates
Tatsuya Ishii and Yasuhide Onoda, who debuted in October 1985 with the
simultaneous release of the single "I Can Be" and the album "Shari Sharizumu".
The following year, in 1988, the album "GO FUNK", which included the single
"KOME KOME WAR", reached the top 10 for the first time, and in 1990, the single
"Romantic Flight" was cut from "5 1/2", which also reached No. 1. In 1992, "Kimi
ga iru dake da umareru" (Just because you are here), which was used as the theme
