Komeda
Komeda is a Swedish indie pop band formed in Umeå in 1991, originally consisting
of vocalist Lena Karlsson, guitarist Lars Henrik Andersson, bassist Marcus
Holmberg, and drummer Jonas Holmberg. The group debuted with the EP Pop På
Svenska (1993), followed by the album Plan 714 till Komeda (1995). Guitarist
Mattias Norlander replaced Andersson in 1994. The group gained international
recognition with the release of the albums The Genius of Komeda (1996) and What
Makes It Go? (1998), which led to tours with Beck and Ben Folds Five. They also
