The Philadelphia New-Wave throwback duo Korine formed in 2015 when lead singer
Morgy Ramone and producer/multi-instrumentationalist Trey Frye, who each had
other music projects going, became co-workers at a café and decided to begin
working together on a new musical project. Their debut single, 2017’s “Corsage”
made clear the debt they owed to such seminal 80s bands as New Order, The Cure
