Kōzō Murashita, born as 村下 孝蔵 on February 28, 1953, in Minamata, Kumamoto,
Japan, was a Japanese singer-songwriter. His music career began with the release
of his debut album Sore zore no Kaze in 1979 on an independent label.
Murashita's breakthrough came with his single "Hatsukoi" in 1983, which was
later covered by several artists including Hiroko Mita and Yuka Imai. This song
became a cultural milestone, being remade for various anime series and films.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Murashita released numerous albums, including
