Kristinia Jamie DeBarge, born March 8, 1990, in South Pasadena, California,
emerged as an American R&B and soul singer with aspirations in songwriting and
acting. She began singing at age three, but only started taking it seriously at
twelve, after recording a late-night duet with her father that convinced him she
was serious about a singing career. Her career breakthrough arrived with the
