Ksenija Sidorova, born on May 18, 1988, in Riga, Latvia, is a classical
accordionist. Inspired by her grandmother's involvement in folk music, she began
playing the accordion at age eight under Marija Gasele and later studied at the
Royal Academy of Music in London. Sidorova won the Friends of the Royal Academy
of Music Wigmore Award in 2009 and debuted at the Wigmore Hall that same year.
Her career includes performances at the Lucerne Festival, Night of the Proms,
and collaborations with ensembles such as the Belcea Quartet and Wiener
