Kym Sims, born on 23 August 1966 in Chicago, is an American singer and
songwriter associated most with dance music. She began her career as an
advertising jingle singer before transitioning into the dance music market. Her
breakthrough came with the release of "Too Blind to See It" in 1991, produced by
Steve "Silk" Hurley. The single enjoyed significant success in the UK, spending
12 weeks on the UK Singles Chart and peaking at number five. This led to her
debut album Too Blind to See It, which reached number 39 on the UK Albums Chart.
