Kyosuke Himuro (born October 7, 1960) is a legendary Japanese singer-songwriter,
best known as the vocalist of BOØWY, one of Japan’s most influential rock bands.
Born in Takasaki, Gunma, Himuro started his career in the early 1980s, forming
BOØWY in 1982 and debuting with the album MORAL. The band gained massive
popularity before disbanding in 1988. Shortly after, Himuro launched his solo
career with the hit single "ANGEL"(1988), achieving immediate success.
