Hailing from Noisy-le-Sec (Seine-Saint-Denis), French hip-hop group La Caution
was formed in 1996 around brothers of Moroccan origin, Hi-Tekk (Mohamed Mazouz)
and Nikkfurie (Ahmed Mazouz). Accompanied in their early days by DJ Fab, they
became part of the Les Cautionneurs collective and toured with the group
Assassin in 2000, before signing with the Kerozen Music label, which released
the EP Les Rues Électriques, followed by the album Asphalte Hurlante (2001),
