La Sabrosura
La Sabrosura is a Colombian salsa orchestra founded on May 16, 1987, in Cartago,
Valle by Carlos Rodas and Héctor Favio Arismendi. Known for their romantic salsa
style, the group quickly gained popularity, with Hugo Alberto Zapata as their
lead vocalist. Tragically, Zapata and his wife died in a motorcycle accident in
1995, a loss that deeply affected the band. During their early years, La
Sabrosura recorded several hits for Discos Fuentes, including "Tu amigo o tu
amante," "Quedate conmigo," "Romantico y apasionado," and "Vuelvo a ti." In
