La T y La M, the Argentine cumbia duo formed by Tobías Medrano and Matías Rapen,
emerged in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic when the two met in Florencio
Varela, Buenos Aires. Initially gaining attention with their cumbia version of
Nio García and Flow La Movie’s hit “AM,” which went viral after being sung by
