La'cryma Christi, a Japanese visual kei rock band, were formed in Osaka in 1991
by vocalist Taka and guitarist Hiro. Initially known as Strippe-D Lady, the band
underwent several line-up changes before settling on their classic formation
with Taka, Hiro, Koji (guitar), Levin (drums), and Shuse (bass) in 1994. They
released their first single, "Siam's Eye", that same year under a local indie
label. They moved to Tokyo in 1996 after the release of their mini-album Warm
