LaTour
William LaTour, better known by his stage names LaTour and Bud LaTour, is an
American DJ, electronic music producer, and voice-over artist who began his
career as a radio personality in Phoenix before relocating to Chicago. His early
career featured parody songwriting, earning a Number 1 spot on Dr. Demento’s
Funny Five chart with “Rock Me Jerry Lewis”. In 1991, after leaving the punk
band the Squids, he signed with Smash Records and released his eponymous debut
