Laura Fygi
Laura Ingrid Thérèse Fijgi, known professionally as Laura Fygi, born on August
27, 1955, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is a jazz and pop singer. She spent her
early years in Montevideo, Uruguay, before returning to the Netherlands. Her
musical journey began with school theater performances and piano lessons. After
her studies, she performed with a limbo group and joined the multicultural
ensemble Terra, leading to her discovery by producers Debois and von Asten. From
