Lauren Elizabeth Ash, born in Belleville, Ontario, Canada, on February 4, 1983,
is a Canadian actress, musician, comedian, and writer. Ash is best known for her
role as Dina Fox on the sitcom Superstore. An alumna of Second City Toronto, she
won Canadian Comedy Awards for Best Female Improviser in 2006 and 2007, Best
Performance by a Female – Television for Almost Heroes in 2012, and Best Female
Performance in a Feature Film for Dirty Singles in 2015, as well as a Canadian
Screen Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Spun Out in
