Quebec folk band formed in 2002, in Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu (Canada),
consisting of Nicolas Boulerice, Olivier Demers, Sébastien Dufour and Frédéric
Samson. That same year, they met Benoît Bourque and Bernard Simard, who joined
the band. Le Vent du Nord released their first album in 2003, Maudite Moisson,
which won a Juno award for traditional album of the year. In 2004, Bernard
Simard is replaced by Simon Beaudry, who introduces a new instrument to the
