Leon Schuster
Leon Schuster, born on May 21, 1951, in South Africa, is a singer, comedian, and
filmmaker who began his career singing popular Afrikaner music. Throughout his
career, he released several albums including 'Shakin' Schuster en sy opkikkers'
(1992), Hie' Kommie Bokke! (1995), and Gautvol in Paradise (1996). He has has
notably collaborated with artists like Steve Hofmeyr, Johnny Clegg, and Claire
Johnston. In 2023, he released the single "Die Bokmasjien".
