Fahreta Jahić-Živojinović, better known as Lepa Brena, was born on October 20,
1960, in Tuzla, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia. Raised in Brčko, she
began performing at local cultural events before moving to Belgrade in 1979. She
joined Lira Show, later renamed Slatki Greh, and rose to fame with the 1982
album Čačak, Čačak. One of the most successful entertainers in the former
