Lifafa
Lifafa, born Suryakant Samson Sawhney on March 1, 1987, is an Indian indie
musician. He first gained attention with the release of the album Jaago in 2019,
with the title track gaining prominence as a protest anthem. Lifafa followed
with the album SUPERPOWER2020 in 2020. In the same year, he released Ghar:
Sounds of Raw Mango. He was also a founding member of Peter Cat Recording Co.
Lifafa performed at Shaheen Bagh as part of "Artists Against Communalism" during
the Shaheen Bagh protests.
