Lightwave was a French electronic music group formed in Paris in 1984. The band
was founded by Serge Leroy and originally included Laurent Bozec and Christian
Wittman. From 1988, the group performed as a duo consisting of Wittman and
Christoph Harbonnier. Their debut album, Nachtmusik (1990), was followed by
Tycho Brahé (1993). Their recordings include the albums Mundus Subterraneus
(1995), In der Unterwelt (1996), and Cantus Umbrarum (1999). Lightwave
collaborated with artists including Hector Zazou, Jon Hassell, and Paul
