Lilian Terry

Lilian Terry was an Italian jazz singer, composer, and presenter born in Egypt in 1930. Liliane Therese Cachia studied piano at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia before making a professional debut in 1952. They were the first jazz singer to appear on Italian television and hosted the variety program Abito da sera (1962). Their recording of the song “My Heart Belongs to Daddy” (1962) reached number 19 on the Italian charts. In 1965, they established the jazz club Terry's Mad Pad.
